How do you read a book in ur head? Is it the internal monologue voice? Since I don't have a voice I don't actually hear one when i'm reading either, instead I just visualise the words as I read along, anything I do hear is just mumbling following along with the visuals

Sometimes I talk to myself out loud but only out of boredom and craziness, I only do it if i've been stuck inside playing world of warcraft for at least 8 hours straight that day without having any human contact

Yeah when I read I usually hear myself in my head and tbh my inner head voice has emotions so it’s not monotone. I actually find myself arguing with it, I’ll like simulate certain argumentative situations with my inner voice without realizing lol.

I actually prefer reading fanfics to actual books cuz when it gets to smth emotional I can hear the characters saying it so I don't have to try and imagine what it would sound like, cuz it's really hard when u don't already have a voice in ur head to say it

Same whenever I’m reading a book with a story my inner voice kinda sounds like what I think the characters In the book sound like. Same with the characters in FanFiction
