That the artists i follow actually care about being role moles and that how they act reflects on them .

The amount of focus. I defy most 14/15 year olds to show the consistent focus and polished speaking of say Wonyoung/Yujin While still being fun.

The structure.

Every single one of these is huge for me. Except weekly idol, specifically.

The structured system. The idols as role model figures. The emphasis on manner and respectability. The lack of indulgence of entitlement and narcissism. The focus on the whole rather than the individual. The integration of the Korean ethos and Confucian values into the industry.

It all appeals to my conservative nature.

I find it so refreshing in comparison to the pop culture I was used to for my early life.
