MBC just doesn't seem to care about streaming (1 Viewer)

It's Saturday, which means Music Core, and usually MBC livestreams on their MBCKpop channel.
However, today instead of an actual livestream, all anyone saw was this:

That screenshot was taken at 1:36am, while Taemin was performing (I was watching a different stream at that point).
And according to the chat, this isn't the first time MBC has just forgotten to livestream their own show.
What's your opinion on this kind of behaviour?


Personally, I find it disingenuous. Obviously MBC has no obligation to offer a livestream, but to schedule one and just never start it is pretty ridiculous. A lot of international fans prefer to use official livestreams because they have less issues than others, but that requires the company to hold up their end of the deal. If MBC no longer wants to stream on YouTube, that's fine, but they should make an announcement and stop short-changing people.​

Yeah they did it a lot of times last month and I had to find alternative links to watch GFriend. Yoda wasn't pleased. Why even have a "live stream" if you're not going to live stream? It's a waste of our time, their time and YT space.

Oof, so it's been a problem for a while, yikes. I find it incredibly unprofessional. As a broadcaster, they have every right to control their content, but to tell people you're going to do something and just not...it's not great business. I wish YouTube would do something about it, it's basically a scam at this point. I mean, we can always find alternate streams, but it's the principle of the thing.

MBC keeps getting worse and worse, I swear! Not only with failing to follow through on streaming, either. Their camera work, if possible, has gotten more atrocious. Tried to watch Monsta X's Alligator performance and was practically getting motion sickness AND their crappy constant zooms meant they missed a ton of the dance details.
