because they don't see a point and do stuff without considering the feelings of others.
people also tend to forget that idols or celebs in general are very aware of the comments they get.

no, its really not about any of those things. its just self expression
when i go through something terrible i usually talk about it. that's how i cope. And that's how i feel about some groups - i feel like them and their music are a bad and regretful experience. then people say 'just dont look at them or listen to them.' thats IMPOSSIBLE. some groups are EVERYWHERE. it brings down my mood, it agitates me, i feel dissatisfied, and then i need to vent.

well i mean that's like asking why do i post my paintings online when i could just keep them in my sketchbook. why do i go to the grocery store when i could just order online. because i dont want to live my whole life in private. i want to live my truths in public because i feel that i deserve that. i feel that everyone deserves that. that's why i dont believe in "fanwars." I believe that if someone hates your group you should tolerate it. thats what I do.

I do not get upset about other people not liking my groups or their songs. i dont understand why others do. to me it looks so petty. if someone dislikes a group and tweets about it the entire fandom will report them and get their account deleted if they can. and pretty often they are successful then they celebrate. and all of this over an opinion. this is why i am very hesitant to socialize with other kpop fans. i really wonder to what extent can i trust them.

i mean kpop fans have VERY short fuses. and i dont understand that. its only someone's opinion. if someone said "your group's comeback was trash and i wish they'd disband." Ok. That's just their opinion. It doesn't mean that now the comeback really IS trash. And thats the distinction that I think other kpop fans cant get. Opinions =/= Facts. And its not just kpop fans that cant get this, apparently idols themselves can't stop hurting themselves on other people's opinions. I think its very unhealthy. I believe 100% in freedom of speech. but we all need to stop throwing ourselves onto every negative opinion and hurting ourselves on it.

I'm not saying people need a thicker skin I'm saying they need to learn to put negative opinions into a realistic perspective. No group is so good that no one will dislike them. Even expecting that is ridiculous. So when it gets said none of us should be surprised.

I get what you are saying. But it's just not something necessary. If you don't aknowledge the group, there is no need to bash. Just keep focused on your favorites.

in order to keep my day positive I simply avoid opinions that i dont like. think of it as walking down the street and you suddenly see a sharp rusty nail. wouldn't you just walk around it and go on with your day? anyone would. but if its an opinion or some words, people feel like they got to feel hurt by the presence of this nail, they have to get worked up and stop their day, they gotta stay mad for the rest of day, etc. it doesn't make sense and its not what's best for us as people or fans

well if i had to think of a reason its probably because some people may want to meet others that share their negative opinions. the only reason we say anything is because we want to be understood and related to by other people. we want someone else to validate our opinions.

just like people bond through liking groups, people bond through disliking groups too. i honestly made my last online friend because we both dislike the same group. finding each other was such a relief. finally someone i can tell the whole truth to and know she wont defriend me lol someone who, during this groups comebacks, will be equally unimpressed lol there is a good feeling when you find people who see what you see, whether its positive or negative. but had i never said anything and just kept it in a journal she never could have said "me too." having ranting buddies can be good too

or if a person is the troublemaker type maybe they drop a negative opinion because they just want to trigger the fandom and feed off the huge reaction they know they'll get. Thats why i try not to give reactions. I either avoid the opinion or I make a joke out of it so they know I'm not upset

I get what you're saying, and expressing your opinion whether positive or negative should be encouraged. I wouldn't call that bashing though. Bashing takes things a step further imo, comes from a malicious place where you're not merely being honest but looking to trigger/upset fans deliberately for your own amusement. Saying a group's song sucks should be fine, wishing for and celebrating their failure is kinda unnecessary tho.

I hated that comeback, the song was terrible = opinion.

I get what you mean, AGAIN. But still. I don't get why people have to bash groups because you don't like them. Ranting is fine, but going into a public forums that is specifically for praising groups and such to do that. They also are completely against bashing here. Says it in the rules. I'm not saying you are doing this but it's a growing issue in this forum.
