Have you ever been in an unrequited love towards another person or been on the receiving end of one?

I'm experiencing one right now (towards another person) and I guess it's not as bad as it's made out to be in books, nor do I think about her all the time. But she's always there in the back of my mind. I've never properly talked to her and I have no idea if she even likes me as a person But it feels nice to have that feeling of love even if it's a little bittersweet

I do very much understand you. It all depends on your choice, however I think confessing would make you feel a lot better.
I used to feel extremely overwhelmed hiding my feelings for months. Once you confess despite knowing they won't like you back, you at least feel bit of a relief. I've gotten over him rn, took me years tho.
