That’s unfortunate. Bts’ most recent album wasn’t my favorite but I loved Everything before that, especially love yourself tear. I think bts changing was inevitable, they’re in a completely different market now with a different style of music. I personally listen to western music and kpop equally so I can see where they were trying to come from musically. But I didn’t enjoy their new album though, because I felt as though all of the tracks blended in with each other and I think the tracks were way more poppier then I expected. I was hoping that the album would sound like black swan. At least jungkooks solo, my time, was what I was expecting the album to sound like. That’s probably why it’s my favorite song off of the album.

Black Swan interestingly enough is the first BTS song I've REALLY liked in a LONG time!
Well there have been others, but those have been either rapline tracks or Suga solo tracks.

Yeah I think I enjoyed black swan more then on. I don’t understand why they didn’t make it the title track? I felt as though it had more appeal for a western audience then on ever did, also the dance was very pretty.

to some extent yes, but it's more nostalgia and me missing the feeling at the time rather than missing the group

I do miss them but not as the Blackpink that they are right now. I only miss 2016 Blackpink when they had that "grunge, school girl" aesthetic. I think that's why I love Kill This Love so much. It doesn't sound like it belongs to 2019 BP, imo. It sounds like something the girls would've released in between Boombayah and Whistle. It gives me nostalgia.

I still keep up with them and I have a soft spot for Chaelisa but I won't stan again because of blinks. I just don't get the same satisfaction from them and it makes me sad when I think about them as a group now, in 2021.

I do miss the members but I can't vibe with their discography so I only watch their interviews and admire the girls' beauty.

I do miss 2017 AOA. Preferably during 'Heart Attack' era. But, I can't say I miss them as a group. Only Seolhyun as an idol.

I'm actually the opposite with BTS - I guess I had an advantage when I first stanned them, though bc they were just starting to transform from a hip hop group to a (mainly) pop group, so I never knew their stuff that was released before YNWA.

As for groups I used to stan, Imma have to go with Seventeen. I unstanned when I realized they had more rappers than vocalists, but now I'm thinking that was a silly reason? I even had a bias in that group - I miss that.

But they don't really though? Not to mention very often the rappers end up singing in their songs bcs the song doesn't have enough rap lines lmao

Good point! And TXT has mostly rappers, but it's not like they rap all the time! Okay, I'll restan.

Stray Kids were my first ult group, and they were my ult for two years. Honestly I do wish I could still love them as much as I did but after Kingdom I just got too burnt out. I do miss them a lot but I don't connect with them like I did before.
