This could have been their best comeback. Just listen to how fierce that pre-chorus is, and how bad-ass this could have been. For all of you who don't know, CLC recorded a demo of La Vie En Rose, but in the end Cube scraped it and sold it to you know who.

It's a bit unfair to compare since it isn't the finished product but I honestly think it suits IZ*ONE perfectly.
CLC has amazing versatility but they're a bit too mature and strong to carry the song as well. LVER's elegance suits youthful elegance better than mature elegance

Hmm I mean isn't CLC the same gg who released tones of cute songs? Even when where are you 's results didnt end up too well in 2k17 they promoted summer kiss which was so youthfuo and it suited them

Maybe so but they started going for a harder image after Black Dress. And considering the choreography and lyric differences with the original, CLC was meant to carry it in a more mature way than they had their previous comebacks. Maybe the finished product would have been different but I just think it suited IZ*ONE better once it was toned down, especially as a debut song.
