Yes she will be! I love her because she's a great mix of vocal talent, dance/performance ability and interesting musical arrangement. Also I feel like with a soloist I can focus on the artist and music more. There is less drama, less things grabbing for my attention and less emotional strings being pulled by the company.

I'd say SHINee for sure.
Over the years they've tried out so many different concepts, but they pull of each concept very well and they always deliver with quality. I like how they don't just follow trends.

DAY6 has never failed to disappoint people with their comebacks, I think. They certainly haven't disappointed me.
SUJU seems to usually put out music everyone likes. I don't listen to them much, but whenever I do, the songs are pretty catchy.
Taemin and SHINee goes without saying.
Gfriend too, though I don't stan enough to know thei music, a lot of people love their comebacks.

shinee: as a group and as soloists, they save kpop for me. their discography is one of my favorites. i love that they bring something refreshing with each comeback and i love their sound.


red velvet: i've been a fan since they debuted but for me, out of their title tracks, i've only liked russian roulette, peek a boo, bad boy and psycho. i know that their other title tracks are loved but they weren't really my taste. red velvet is another one that has consistently solid albums, i always end up liking a few songs within their albums and looking forward to their releases.

other honorable mentions:



bts: personally, i liked their older albums and songs more but they have gems within their albums and throughout their discography. lyrically, they have songs that i appreciate.

Oh my God, how could I forget Red Velvet, they've have at least one massive genre defining hit since 2015 with Ice Cream Cake/Dumb Dumb. Also from 2015-Spring for me BTS was saving Kpop. Shinee is also one of the best, imo right up there with TVXQ and BIGBANG for the 2nd gen.

everyone has a sweet spot for seventeen
and every time they have a comeback there a nice return of old kpop fans
plus every comeback there fan base increases a lil bit
they have the most stable fan base i feel

i think if you fan seventeen even if you fell out of kpop you will always love seventeen
