I was in the hospital for 2 freaking weeks and my professor knew and still gave me no extension on the test I had due 4 hours after I left the hospital. I wasn't able to watch any of the lectures while I was there. He also gave me a generous 2 day extension on my homework that was due the day before I got out of the hospital and doesn't want to let me make up a homework assignment that I missed while I was at the hospital

This man doesn't give a crap about his students istg

Okay rant over time to go back to the many lectures I missed and watch them so I know how to even approach that homework

Jeez and i was thinking only a crazy nut would be failing folks this term. Sorry you found one.
here the kids cant get a final grade lower than the one they had at the time class attendance was canceled.
my nieces at unin were given the option of pass /fail and it does not hit the gpa.

There is the benefit of his class being really easy and us having a pass/fail option. I had a 100% before I was gone and the final is worth 30% and hasnt happened yet so I could get a 0 on the homework and a bad grade on the test I just took and pass with ease. I'm just angry at his attitude about it, especially since here it is actually illegal to penalize a student when given a valid medical reason

Oh I forgot to mention that my uni works in terms, so we only have 7 week long classes. So I missed 2/7 weeks, and we only have one week left before classes are over so thats fun too.

If you can provide proof to your university about your admittance and leave from the hospital and show he was aware then you can report him. This behavior goes beyond just being an asshole. Contact the head of his department and set up a meeting with them about it

Yep there's recorded proof of both, so if it comes down to that I will. I just need to get everything straightened out first, I have so much work to make up for all of my classes, not just that one, so I'll decide what to do with it after I'm more able to really think about it all and do my research.

I had a teacher like that you say and I ended up quitting the course entirely, due to her attitude and annoying complaints about me.
