I grew up with it, the first English movies I ever saw was the Star Wars series. I was probably about 6 or so when I first saw them.

I had around 10 or 11 when I saw my first Star Wars movie, Attack of the clones. I grew up with the prequels and I remember going to the movies to watch RoS.

I was a little kid when i first watched star wars, in a cinema in my country- think it was 1 yr after it first came out; my memory might be false but it was over 40 yrs ago, yes im old.
Im sure it was within tat time frame. No memory of watching Empire but watching Jedi first time was an event-had to go to another country(only abt/less than an hr away) at a cinema in place called Beauty World(?) on a Sunday (?) afternoon this was less than 40 yrs ago in 1983 or ' 84; watever year it came out in my/tat country- but i really remember nothing else about those experiences. (Memories of the movies came from watching them on tv over the years, i remember lunar new year ep4 was playing n we visited hses n tried to watch it at multiple visits[think it was over after 3 hse visits].

Wish i knew 5yr old Drew n could hv watched Jedi with u then, but apart from no internet n no kps then, we were half a world away then n idk wat kind of kid u were then, so maybe its for the best

Lol I was actually really shy and quiet as a kid. I would be scared of you and you would get bored with me and leave and take all your toys home with you.

Ok i was a teen then but as a shy asian kid in a parallel universe where we met, (i never watched it, the goonies)- we could hv formed a proto-goonies friendship n had a short life-changing adventure n re-met years later via kpop n kps sorta kinda but not really like the big bang theory n sheldon's asian kid friend, different country n era but still.
Still nice for me to think abt tho.

Hard to imagine drewB as a shy quiet 5 yr old kid. Shudder! The times sure hv changed.
