I think Yeji can really make a name for herself, fingers crossed :pepehug2:

Also I like Soyeon a heck of a lot, she's a full aesthetic :pepesalut:

But I think my taste might not be Korean :nosejoo:

I'm I the only one who thinks we are still in 3rd Generation.........
I felt that way for a while two but theres becoming a clear distinction between 3rd and 4th gen.
Comparing debuts and wuccess then vs debuts and success now it seems like a whole new league!

Yuqi definitely has the charms and mannerisms to become an it girl in Korea! I believe she just needs her viral moment

Yeji can totally become popular but I think because of her unique visuals she'll be more known for something else, and if Cube starts to push Soyeon more as an individual I can see her reaching Heize's popularity/respect!

I don't see it honestly. For me 3rd Gen only began in 2012, and took over in 2015. I don't see much drastic difference in styles, formations, or anything such from groups like BTS, EXO, BP and TWICE. None of the "4th Gen" have expanded upon the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen foundations. Also the 3rd Gen top groups are still at the top and will be it seems for at most 2023 when BlackPink's contracts end.

I think all the groups you mentioned are 3.5 Gen like SISTAR is 2.5 Gen.

I can see what you mean. I'd still argue that groups like Sistar are 2nd gen but my view point might be different due to me getting into kpop in 3rd gen haha

i agree with all of u. i think we're still in an awkward phase between generations and these groups are kinda like how exo was back in 2011 and called flops cause of all the success of 2nd gen groups. 2014-2015 was the real start of 3rd gen for me.
