Oh Anon prefix isn't necessary, I only used it coz I set up a Google Form where users can ask anonymously lol. But you can still edit your thread title and set it later

I'm not from Australia haha, I do know 2 good Aussies here tho @Tir and @Darth_17 both amazing people
I personally don't know much about how it's like to live there or how the people are, I do know it's really expensive compared to other countries, and they really sell their tourism well. I have some acquaintances working/living there and they seem to like it but I've read some of your threads and judging by those experiences it sounds kinda rough.
However, that could just be problems with your locality/area and not the whole country. You don't like being there?

do you think that meaningful lyrics are important in k-pop?

Not that high up on my list of priorities when I consider if I like a song or find it good tbh. Most important part is always the song should be catchy, or make you feel a certain way. Be able to invoke the emotions in you that it was intended to.

Primarily this is because we ifans don't understand Korean, so unless you're paying attention to subtitles or looking at color coded videos, the first impression a song makes is usually independent of what it's lyrical content is.

If you do understand Korean or listen to the song a lot, then meaningful lyrics can certainly enhance the experience and make you develop even greater appreciation for it. For example, I personally related to Love Scenario a lot because the lyrics are really relatable to my life experience lol. But I wouldn't have checked it out in the first place if the song didn't hook me already.

I guess if it's a ballad then lyrics help, and good lyrics can also help with charting in Korea so there's merit to it. It just isn't that important to me.

Would your past self be proud of who you are now?

My kid/school self would absolutely be disgusted coz I had ambition back then, wanted to be somebody big
But college me would probably be relieved I'm working and living by myself, earning enough to support my living, considering how poor my grades were at one point and how hopeless I felt.
My young self just had extremely high standards for himself and somewhere along the line I compromised and settled for less. I think most people do as they grow older tbh.

Anyway ending all life seems pretty pointless, what do you do when you're the only living thing on earth? Boring. Maybe end half of all life, switch from Ozymandias to Thanos
Colonizing planets seems like a lot of work, if I'm that smart I'm looking to make life easier for me. Not raise an army, equip them with weapons, devise strategies and go to war.
I guess ending world hunger is the noblest and least useless option of the three, although I'd probably just look out for myself and people close to me first.

Of these Italy
I love Pizza and Lasagna so much, I could eat just these 2 things everyday
But I also love sushi and ramen, but I'd still choose Italy lol.

Among other cuisines, I really like Arabian cuisine, Chinese and South East Asian like Thai and Vietnamese

Play music in my car and sleep in it until the morning I guess

Pizza vs. hot dog vs. hamburger, which is better, why, why not

Pizza all day every day, first of all the toppings, you can customize it so much. And the extra cheese
The way the crust supports the good stuff, and I just dislike hot dogs and hamburgers where the good stuff is only in the middle tbh
With a pizza, there's no bad stuff, you don't endure any tasteless portion so you can also savor something delicious like in the other 2. More satisfaction per bite.

There are some slightly unpopular songs I'm a big fan of lol.

1. iKON- Bling Bling: Still my fav iKON title, such a banger, Idk why people dislike it but they're wrong.



2. Nature- Oopsie my bad: I really hated this at first but then something happened and overnight I started loving it lol. It's basically noise music with chanty verses and a beat drop driven chorus, all elements I hate, but something about the production and the energy in it, plus Loha's rap and the vocals towards the end with Sohee and Sunshine


3. Momoland- Baam: People hated this and dismissed this as just Bboom Bboom 2.0 although this was clearly the superior song I'll always love you, unappreciated queen Baam
