News SeulRene 'Monster' MV delayed till 7/7 12pm KST (1 Viewer)

Waiting on official confirmation. But it looks like the highly anticipated MV debut of the first subunit has been delayed till tomorrow....

This comes after the MV was delayed today from 6pm to 8pm (without prior warning).

This is utterly disappointing, and I am trying very hard right now to hold back on the insults towards SM. But this is a fcking joke! How incompetent must SM be? This isn't the first time that they've done this to one of their female artists (they've done it to Taeyeon countless times). And for what? What benefit does this have? There's already unofficial lyric videos (and even a lyric video that's been posted onto RV's YT channel) and this is just eating away at the views and hype of the MV!!!!
Whether intentionally or not. SM have sabotaged SeulRene's debut, and they need to issue a fcking apology. Because this isn't fair to the girls, to those who worked on the MV and the fans!
The girls excitedly posted at 6pm (which means that SM failed to communicate with them). And twice, the fans have waited for the MV release. To only be let down!!!


Unfortunately not the thread that I wanted to post today.. But yeah. Thanks for fcking nothing SM!!!!!!

It's one of the most frustrating and fathomable things, how a company like SM can be so damn incompetent.

They have the making video for the MV, so it's completed. Unless for some unknown reason the editing/post-production isn't complete, which is unlikely.

If it is incomplete, fire those in post-production as they suck for working at such a huge company. If it is complete, then just WTF is SM doing?!

All tweets were pointing towards a 6pm release (the girls, and even Wendy, posted at 6pm). However there was no video, and then an update on SM's webpage about it being delayed till 8pm (no reason given). 8pm, still nothing and then this update with the time removed all together

6 hours later and SM have finally released a statement... (Great work there SM. No seriously. Great work by 'Asia's #1 Entertainment company'.....)

The MV to 'Monster' will now be released on the 7th July at 6pm KST (according to SM, anyway......)

We don't understand anything! WTF happened SM?! We support Irene & Seulgi sure, but not SM's incompetence. I guess we won't learn much about why it was delayed, as I would have expected it along with that particular update.

Honestly i just do not understand the internal timelines.
Is the schedule soo tight that a relatively tiny glitch causes a 18 hour delay at the last min....?
maybe the security sucks so much that they refuse to be done early after all the leaks.

my work would prefer to have our release QA approved and buttoned up a full day be fore we release.

Why they (shoot many agencies) constantly fail to hit the time is just shockingly bad.

There is a significant internal train wreck about accuracy and timeliness.

Was gonna make joke abt gremlins stealing SM password like how they stole Taryeon's yt password 2 times now I followed ur(seulpika) twitter almost in real time so i knew abt a delay but dint know its been delayed almost 24hrs. Tat sucks, also generally post production is outsourced-i think, so maybe company/personnel in charge screwed up there. Still no excuse seeing how Monster was delayed from earlier. Sigh.

I was really surprised, coming home seeing no MV. Really confusing that one of the most anticipated units debut MV is not gonna drop. Like Irene and Seulgi are so loved amongst knetz and RV stans, idk why SM would slack for their debut.

Idt SM really knows how unprofessional that looks on their part to not release the MV on its official promoted time (7/6th); which can be clearly seen on all Seulrene's teasers..
If there really was a problem with the MV, there would've been a notice about the issue ahead of time before the official release. All that possible hype lost by releasing the song + bts making first, before the actual MV... Why SM??
Irene & Seulgi really don't deserve that after the album was already pushed back a month. The over extended wait better be worth it...
