if you are an agency man up, pick your kids and go with it.
Don't do the lost puppy get attached to it thing like we are saving the poor kids from being killed at the pound.
produce gets a pass because while ce & j own most of em its not an agency making the call.

Nizi Project wasn't really in company though most of the trainees auditioned to get into the show like American Idol style only three out of the nine members actually started the show as JYP trainees...

It is more that JYP is leaning on this like a crutch.
SM got a boat load of flack for the never ending NCT.
But it was the plan and 5 units ( i thinks its 5 really i am not sure) and Super M later its pretty successful.
Maybe one of the cost was and Not dropping a new gg.
But they took a shot just like dropping a gg with most members over 20 and the visual old enough to be in SNSD.
I have far more respect for that, than anything JYP or YG has done in the past decade.

I can't argue with the YG side of things, their survival shows are always a scam but in fairness, ITZY didn't come from a show...
