Tbh SM always had a combination with their groups. Shinee, TVXQ, f(x), and RV have few members, while SNSD, Suju, NCT, and Exo have more.

YG is definitely going for a more full on idol formula than they have previously and I do kind of have a feeling that SMNGG is gonna be a Black Pink rip off from the info we have right now but I definitely don't think they're switching places if anything I think we're just witnessing the decline of both...
