Basically groups what debuted in 2014
7 years contract in the normal length of first contract...

Mark from got7 will leave as there been rumours he will leave for a while
and maybe jackson as he prob better off in china

yeah thats true, just as Minx, idk I think they terminated their contract as Minx and their company made a new one for the whole of dreamcatcher

question there would be term length. Minx were true rookies, dream not so much.
Might have new 5 year deals or shorter. Unlikely they signed new rookie 7 year deals, but i guess its possible.

well after talking about it on a discord people think the whole group may not resign

as 1 of the members is doing well in modelling and prob just end up doing it full time
plus RV will be
30, 27, 27, 25, 22 in 2021

so imagine being the higher ages
not having kids or being married

add another 5 years on for a second contract...

35, 32, 32, 30, 27

too just start making a family or being in a relationship..

plus they be resigning after the new sm gg debuts what makes me feel sm thinks they may not resign

I think there a smalll smallll chance if yeri is happy with sm
could be put into the new gg
as she is currently the age of the oldest member in a group at debut

i think due to wendys accident she prob will just do some film/tv songs as i really feel like she not going be dancing any time soon

but yeh i agree the sub unit also makes me feel like sm has plans in the works for the resign peroid of rv

I honestly don't think Red Velvet will disband just like that, is not SME's tradition with its groups, however, I do think they'll slow it down and focus more on individual/sub- unit activities. RV members are in way better position than F(x) was a while ago and SM gives plenty of opportunities for solo work, so they'll be fine.

Bursters aren't exactly a typical kpop group, I think they'll be fine thankfully. Mamamoo I also think will re sign their contracts. Not sure about the rest since I don't know enough.

This year is done
Contracts are signed at the start of the year, 2nd contracts seem to be 3 years tops. (except i am still not sure if part of the stress was Jessica resigned for 1)
Every group that can will want at least one more tour, and until covid is gone money making options are limited any way.
Dropping an album is a quick cash grab.
But given the angst anyone who can tour when this clears up willl make bank.


Also why i lean to izone extending they are just leaving way too much money on the table not being able to tour.

From what i understand SM never waits until the month.
If it comes down to the end like with SNSD folks are not resiging .
The people i have read from the inside claim its all done early. ( that is why snsd could not use the CF of the Mr. Mr. cb against sm they had all resigned already.
