I just saw their ultra dramatic video teaser and my delusions for a mythical concept have kind of intensified but let's see how it goes. They're supposed to be SNSD's follow up group so SM would have invested heaps into them so my expectations are high. I hope they don't disappoint. I'm already salty though because I know what this means for Red Velvet... which is a shame because their careers are still at their height and they're still a top girl group.

The teaser where they show the group name, the way they've written out the letters, there is a butterfly shape in the ae and the sp makes a heart.

Now that you have mentioned it, I see it though. Aren't hearts and butterflies more on the related side though? I would associate both with cute... I'm still hoping for a mythical fantasy concept though.

Interesting. It's a bit weird that they would use butterflies in SuperM and Taemin's videos (apparently) to promote their ngg.. But it's SM lol so anything is possible. It has 100% been confirmed to be the ngg and not something related to Taemin/SuperM right? I can't tell if OP is confirming or if it's still speculations.

EDIT: I just saw that SM confirmed it! I guess even if they're not SuperM's female counterpart, SM will still try to promote them as the "avengers" a.k.a the next top girl group then. There's just so much overlapping with SuperM for them not to be.

No, SM have released an official statement saying that the new group will debut in November! They are really coming!

There's a japanese duo with a similar idea but instead of being robots they're mannequins and they actually perform as mannequins. I'm not sure SME would do something like that but the avatar part sounds interesting.
