in the video its definitely always better looking, but the photo for Giselle so far and the ae-karina in the interview-ish video released before these teasers, the 2 of them looked weird, i still have hopes tho cuz I really liked Winters model

Ae-Karina the problem was mostly the hair imo
With ae-Giselle it's that the clothes they have on her are too... thin or smth like that. You can't clearly separate the clothes from her skin.

I understand why they want them to have bodytight clothes, it's bcs clothes are a bitch to animate (to the point that the hardest thing to animate in monsters inc. was Boo's shirt) so they don't want the ae members to wear clothes that will move around a lot, but the clothes could have a bit more thickness to them + maybe be more obviously of a different material and have a different texture from their skin. (Which tbf, the clothes do have a different texture, they are a lot more reflective etc than skin, but it could be more different)

I mean I'm pretty sure she spoke korean prior to SM, since she's half Korean, but I can understand it wouldn't have been perfect bcs she wouldn't have been speaking it outside of her home.

Since she has a strong base there already, even 11 months speaking it would go a long way I think.

So I had the displeasure of seeing the hate before the video so my expectation was VERY low but she wasn't even as bad as everyone is making her out to be... She has a nice tone and I'm sure with more practice she'll get even better. I liked it!
