Whether you have told someone your own secret, or someone else has told you their own secret... Are secrets important to you?
Do you trust someone enough to divulge something you hold dear, and wish them to not tell anyone else, for whatever reason?
Does someone trust you enough that they've told you something they hold close to their chest?
Secrets can be kind of sacred between those that know a certain something. It helps build trust and honesty, and ultimately it means you are close enough (or simply trust) someone enough. It can be a nice feeling to have, knowing someone is there for you to trust them in such a way.
Personally, my closest inner circle of friends is about as far as I go with secrets. There's not too much we don't know about each other. We've known each other for 25 years (since nursery/pre-school) and have grown up together. I trust them all unquestionably, and I know they trust me.
Or, has the cat been let out of the bag?
Have you ever revealed someone else's secret, when you weren't supposed to, for whatever reason?
If so, why?
Has someone revealed your secret that you told them not to tell anyone?
How did you feel after you found out?
