Not really. If I have something that I don't want anyone to know, it's probably going to the grave with me. The only person in my life I trust enough to tell a heavy secret is my mom and, well, not everything is appropriate to come from a daughter to a mother xD

I've always been quiet, so my friends often used me as a soundboard and a secret keeper. I did not like being told secrets. Secrets are a burden sometimes. Secrets can make you look at people differently. Secrets told by people who don't actually want accountability are the worst.

Have you ever revealed someone else's secret, when you weren't supposed to, for whatever reason? If so, why?
Yes. To my mom. In high school, my friend thought she was pregnant but could not buy her own test. I had my mom buy it. So, while I didn't divulge the entirety of what my friend had been up to, the implication was enough.

Has someone revealed your secret that you told them not to tell anyone?

Nope because I don't share 'em. Well, my mom tells all my business to all her sisters, but other than that xD

Secrets can be a burden indeed. Hopefully your friends tell you secrets because they simply trust you, not to burden you just to share accountability :).

Revealing a part of your friend's secret in order to help them is more than understandable :).

Fair enough. Sometimes it's best not to burden yourself with such things as at times, secrets can feel like weight lol.

I don't open up to many people and for that reason if I get told to keep something a secret then I will as it should be up to that person if they want their information shared and who to.

Indeed. Secrets have responsibility and it's on behalf of someone that trusts you. :)

Secrets are important to keep, but I think I wouldn't leave it at "Okay, I'll keep it". If your secret is something that has major consequences, I'd ask you if you know the risks. If I see that you're being negatively affected by your secret, I'd ask you if you'd like to talk to someone -- of course, still not being forceful or revealing it to anyone or trying to solve it, just caring about you.

This is true. Some secrets actually come from a place of desperation. So if someone tells you a secret yet it's obvious they need help or something, it's best to encourage them to get the help they need etc.

I don't often make these random threads to be honest. But I quickly found out that if you don't tag people, then there won't be too many people that interact with it. So I made a small tag list of people I interact with most on this forum and all of a sudden the thread picked up. :)

So I'm definitely going to make a tag list of "friends" so that I can use it for these kinds of threads I make.

You should do the same, you'd be surprised by how much it works. Also include those people that you do actually see interact with your threads, even if you haven't tagged them :).
