I think that´s the adrenaline rush, the same gamers get when they are playing a game. All these fans have in front of their eyes are just some numbers they want to reach, no matter the quality.

I care very little about numbers and I´m very often amazed how a really good song can have less views than something so average. But again, I suppose there is a goal, a number that people want to reach and that´s all that matters.

I don´t know whether it´s insane or really sad.

explain that to a fourteen year old girl whose only happy moment is seeing her band win. that´s just an example of course, insert any person you want. isn´t there something really wrong when you are ready to sacrifice your health and your future for something so ... pathetic? are bts coming to save all those kids? and is it their responsibility? of course not. but isn´t it sad that someone´s life is so empty that what makes them happy is a number?

I can see myself having an existentialist crisis today. Let me find my Camus quotes. It is probably not that deep, but maybe there is something to be done about it. Count the person, not the numbers of streaming by one person?

i dont mind streaming as long as people arent forcing you to stream and forcing you to not comment on music videos with emojis cause it fReEzEs ViEwS but streaming also helps the artists get wins and people just want their faves to get wins

i don't really like the idea of streaming in general, but this is a whole different level. it looks like they're not only sacrificing their health and education for streaming but also blaming other people for not doing so which is even worse. prioritizing a group of people who don't know they exist over their education (i admit there was a time where i would watch music videos during classes but it wasn't for streaming, never got that far and i stopped when i got caught lmao) or basic human needs is unhealthy and i'm sure bts will be fine if these people simply decide to go to school instead of streaming their mv.
