Realizing that groups that I have known since predebut are "old"? (1 Viewer)

I don't consider these groups old at all but I guess 4 years is actually a lot longer than it feels like

Recently watching Seventeen come out with Home Run and then rewatching Adore U and realizing they are now a 5 year old group.

Realizing that NCT and Black Pink have been around for 4 years now.

Anyway I feel old, I only got into kpop in 2014 so I feel sorry for anyone who got into kpop before then

Got in at 2012, but then was only listening to groups like BB, 2NE1, and SUJU... So while that would make me physical a 3rd Genner.. I'm a spiritual 2nd Genner... Given that I have seen my fair share of BG/BG come and go.. But it does suck when a group you like either gets disbanded just when getting started (NeonPunch) or goes on indefinite hiatus (SS501) or disbands (SISTAR)..

But yeah. Time flies..

Yeah.. i remember watching the very first EXO teaser the day it was released :') got into kpop in early 2011, feels weird hearing people refer to Red Velvet etc. as older groups :') to me they just debuted wthhhhh

Only today did i feel old when reading abt trainees born in 2006/2007 in the other thread-so how abt me hving listened to SNSD Gee in 2009 n Wonder Girls Nobody whenever it came out n hit my ears/attention.

Im gonna stop following/liking new ggs after Everglow, i think. Just adjust my hearing aid to tune into pre-2020 debut ggs n tune out every gg tat debut after Everglow. Alexa & Siri, or the next gen AI can do tat rite, tune out specific ggs tat debut after 2019 n only let me listen to SNSD, BP, Gfriend, OMG, RV IS n a others tat debuted before my cutoff point? Otherwise wat good is AI if it cant help you not feel old, ah well. Iv already practised yelling at the teens (nowhere around) to get off my (parents' hse) lawn n shake a cane at them.(in my imagination tat is) LOL

same here, i got into k-pop somewhere in june 2016 (a few days after exo's lucky one and monster were released) and i remember blackpink and the nct units debuting. i don't consider myself a blink but to this day i remember exactly where i was watching their debut mvs, it's so weird to see that it has been over 4 years since that. time flies
