this is a very comforting song despite the apparent sadness. the ad libs really express the sadness of losing someone you love. i'm a sucker for ballads like this their voices are aptly emotional, and because i'm a big baby, it almost made me cry a very meaningful song, 9.5/10

i don't listen to j-rock much, but i might have to after listening to this. the mixture of electronic elements and pure rock is lovely. i don't know what they're saying, but they convey their words in such a passionate sounding way. when she (it was a member of the group, right ??) started screaming i was pleasantly surprised. a talented group of girls overall, and a solid bop !! 8/10

the beginning with the accordion(? watch me be wrong lmao) and the vocal sample is really unique and eerie. love the epic instrumental, especially the guitar and the organ. their vocals are mature (holy CRAP that last high note is impressive !!) and the whole song reminds me of something you'd hear from the 2nd generation. i like it's experimental nature a lot. thank you !! 8/10

If you enjoyed it you might like the original song! They had Jongkook from Turbo in the song as a feature. it is pretty different from Ateez version but it still stands on it's own to this day.

i'll try not to make this too wordy

1. "killing me": the effect over the vocals is interesting. i'm not a huge fan of the drop during the chorus, but at least it's different from what you would normally hear. i like the typical yg chanting at the end. altogether it's not my style, but it's not bad either !! 4/10

2. "butterfly": dawn's voice is so unique and that's what ultimately sells me on this song, along with the meaningful lyrics. i would love to see a live performance of this !! 7/10

3. "money": i think his voice suits other songs better than this one, but it's still impressive to hear his growth and potential. i'm not a huge fan of songs like this with droning vocals. "butterfly" is superior in my opinion. 5/10

4. "answer": the piano is beautiful here and i like how it leads into the electronic segment. i'm actually quite taken aback by ateez's vocals !! i love the 2nd gen feel and the background vocals very much. i would listen to this again !! 8.5/10

5. "haven": this song is wonderful. i like when it slows down during the pre-chorus. it gives it a touch of sensitivity. all in all it's an empowering anthem !! 8/10

6. "blueprint": this is a perfect song for the summer time. it makes me feel like i'm by the seaside. stray kids' rapping is really impressive. i don't have much to say about this song other than i do like it. 7/10

7. "move": taemin's voice is exquisite and emotive !! 80s inspired songs are my favorites, so obviously i adore this song. i feel like michael jackson could release something like this. the melody is groovy and sensuous. a masterpiece !! 9.5/10

8. "replay": listening to this made me feel so nostalgic. this song will always be a classic, was ahead of its time, and still feels fresh today. shinee is by far one of the most musically interesting boy groups to ever exist, and the harmonies and ad libs are what makes this song shine. it's truly special and will have a place in my heart forever. 10/10

9. "being left": i like the chill atmosphere. i could see myself driving late at night while listening to it. the piano gives it somber undertones as well, and the singing conveys the emotion nicely. 7/10

"good night like yesterday": i adore lovelyz's electropop ballads ! baby soul really stands out here as a vocalist out of all of the girls, in my opinion. i think this is lovelyz' best vocal performance, and even the weaker singers in the group are given opportunities to shine. it's an example of a well-crafted ballad and i'm shocked that many artists passed on this song before it fell into lovelyz's hands. 8/10

it sounds as if it has some egyptian influences, but i could be wrong in that assessment. the chanting in french was a unique touch that i quite enjoyed !! i love how heavy this song is and the guitar is phenomenal. i hope it's on spotify it was a nice blend of different cultural influences. 8/10

i heard that this song was originally pitched to red velvet, and i can definitely hear the stylistic similarities. it's a bright and fun song with surprisingly impressive vocals for how young the boys are here. it's not my favorite song as it can be repetitive and a tad too cutesy at times, but they have a lot of promise and it's still a bop overall. 7.5/10

these girls can really scream i like when most of the instrumental cuts away at one point and you hear something akin to a music box. it gives you an uneasy feeling. i also love the contrast of the higher vocals with the harsher screaming. it sounds like an anime opening. 7.5/10 !!
