WHAT SOFTWARE(S) DO YOU USE?
FOR HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING IT?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME BETTER AT CERTAIN THINGS? IF SO , WHAT THINGS EXACTLY?
WHAT NEW THINGS WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN?

i use photoshop but back in the day i also used stuff like paint shop pro
i been doing it since i was like 12 years old , so a long time
of course, i would like to become better at making nice text and wantt to get back into making gifs again like i used to for my blog
i want to learn how to make super soft looking but yet sharp gifs

I started it doing when I first started using kpop forums to make myself signatures!

I used GIMP for a really long time, but have since started using photoshop

I mostly want to learn to be more efficient in the edits I make, bcs oftentimes they me quite a long time to get to a satisfactory point. I also want to learn to combine different images, textures etc better.

oh i know what you mean, sometimes it takes me a few hours to get somewhere real epic
but that is not so much because i struggle often, more because i am a perfectionist i suppose in graphics
and sometimes i try out way too much, i just like to explore and try stuff out when i make something

almost anything goes together with almost anything
it just depends on HOW you put it together , in what position , what colors you use etc
and it is also about experimenting a lot , which i used to do as a kid with textures a lot
see what all blending options did in photoshop applying a texture on top of something

I hate editing with no purpose, so learning is always slow for me
Usually I come up with an idea of what I want to do and the kind of a.... vibe and style I want it to have

Then I try to make that idea a reality, looking up tutorials whenever needed and just trying things myself

Yeah, I don't plan on going hard-core with it but I want to at least learn some of it for fun. It's still only a hobby for me as well.

i do make edits but mostly on mobile cuz i needed to start simple ive barely started on pc so they kinda bad. i mean my edits are bad in general cuz the motivation is non existent after 2 seconds of process

im a devine major (design & development) so photoshop and illustrator are pretty much always running in the background ! what's funny is that i'm pretty proud of my professional stuff but i never like my fan edits enough to post... there's this one gfx in particular that i started working on 3 months ago and it's still in progress, im actually thinking i should just completely start anew the thing is, irl i can just ask my friends to critique my stuff and they'll point out everything wrong with it, but my tumblr pals are way too nice for that bless their souls so i start doubting myself a lot

i do gif a lot tho ! i started when ,,, hm i think i was 15? pretty much always go fullstack with avisynth + photoshop + topaz, and now im teaching myself how to animate in after effects, it's really fun !

I've only been seriously editing for like a year or two now, and most of that editing was making idols with rainbow hair and unicorns in their hair so idk if that qualifies

sometimes, but the thing with me is that i often start new edits and then end up never finishing them or never sharing them anywhere in case i actually manage to finish something. also nowadays i just don't have the motivation to do anything, not just edits. actually i looked through some of my old posts on this forum and it looks like i did some edits last year. i'm trying to erase everything that happened in december 2019 from my mind and looks like it works because i don't even remember making these :wonugl:

Yeah I've been editing for 10 years I think. I also had a graphic designer job (I left the country, so I left the job too). I've been mostly using Photoshop, but I started using a lot of Illustrator lately. Ah and when I was working I had to use Corel, I didn't like it.
I'm currently working on my illustration skills and I would like to start making logos. I only made one so far
