Ignoring my joke post, as kpop is filled with various genre, its hard to figure which is your friend's choice of genre which he would like, maybe pick the best of each genre/concept/sound from various top/nugu groups and organize a listening session with him.

I would have personally gone with EXODUS and XOXO repackage. I don't think he'll like the Tempo album if he's into pop. It's too experimental.
