Both, 2015-2018 and part of 2019 for me have been mostly boy groups, although the tables seem to be turning the last few years. I can't really bother to track my bias group list anymore tho that's for sure lmao.

I'd sometimes think I prefer girl groups just because I find them pretty while boys, not so much. But then I listen to bops like this one.........



and then I think damn! boys are so good! There is something to boys' voices that go so well with this kind of rock. I just wish for more boygroups to do this kind of music.
