Your Worst/Longest Injury? (1 Viewer)

Hey, so I was thinking since I started work again
one of my old injuries is really acting up and it got me thinking
what injuries did you guys have that were really bad
and POSSIBLY still affect you now in some way.

So I have had some pretty bad injuries but back in high school
I sprained my ankle really badly then sprained it once more,
then sprained my other ankle and I am not a college graduate
with my ankles all out of sorts. I've been to physical therapy-nothing.
I've had x-rays and MRIs and nothing just evidence of three sprains.

I rolled it for the millionth time weeks ago and my ankle hasn't bounce back like it normally does.
I can't do my physical therapy exercises right now and even resting and icing it don't seem to be helping.
I'm nervous I'll have to get surgery and I'm aggravated and my job requires me to move a lot and be on my feet alot.
Sooooo yeah-what about you?​

I was doing dry land once and sprained my ankle and didn't notice until an hour and a half later while swimming
took about a week and a half to heal, but it wasn't too bad

it was an early morning 2h practice so we did activities (stairs, planks, running, stuff with yoga balls, jumps, and other sets) for about half an hour before the in-water training

Oh my goodness how did you not know? I sprained my ankle and it hurt so BADLY afterwards like right away! O.O

I have this thing where I don't notice injuries until much much later
once I ran my fingers across jagged tiles during practice and didn't think anything was out of the ordinary until my coach pointed out that my thumb was bleeding profusely
another time I had a massive paper cut, and I thought the blood was a marker stain (really dumb now that I think of it now) until class was over
basically I'm dumb and don't register accidents well

lol i fell into a washing machine as a 2 year old much damage ensued. 100 's of stiches. and that was early in my lets try to always land on my head career.
