I have had one very memorable experience with the police. For privacy and don't want to sound dumb reasons, I won't say all the details but basically my friend and I got surrounded by patrol cars one time because they thought we might be hiding a fugitive that had been on the run in the area!
It was our fault for being in a dark empty parking lot by ourselves though I won't ever forget that though for real, it sounds so clickbaity

I have had three direct interactions and one indirect. The indirect one is a bit scandalous so I won't say more.

But I once called the police in a pay phone when I was little and didn't realize I could actually call them so they showed up at my sister's volleyball game. It scared the shit out of me.

I got into a minor fender bender once and another time I was apparently going 70 mph on a curve on the highway-I don't think that was right but I didn't feel like fighting it in court.

I think kids need to be taught that you can call the police on a pay phone without using money. I think there are WAY less of them now so it's not as much of a worry but when you're a kid bored at your sister's game with no one to talk to-you tend to go and play with the phone.

the joke of the story? the driver was a policewoman :D :D :D AND I WAS CROSSING THE FREAKING PEDESTRIAN CROSSING AS ONE SHOULD.

Do you mean interactions as in to call them for something? ... Thankfully I've never had to call the police.

Or, do you mean if I've done something?... Nope! I'm a good human!

I have however had interactions with the police, just in general. I used to want to be a police officer so I had one week of work experience at the local police station. I learnt quite a lot of things (and the basics of the job etc). The officers that showed me around the station and taught me the job were so nice!

The coolest moment was when they showed me the evidence room!!! So many shocking (but lowkey cool) items in there, like swords and really nice looking knifes lmao. And even a couple of guns (small-ish pistols)!! I live in the UK, so seeing just one gun in the police evidence room was very shocking.

i have had one direct interaction with a police officer before. if i remember correctly, i accidentally dialed the police number on my phone while i was drunk and the next thing i knew, a couple of policemen were standing in my doorway. it was nothing much though, they just told me that i shouldn't be "prank calling" them and that i shouldn't commit the same offence again

Just campus police. I needed someone to open a gym on the weekend. He came in the building and immediately asked how did I even get in here. I told him the door was already unlocked.
