So Lalalilala is in my top 3 girl group titles this year (or top 3 titles in general in 2020) but I never paid much attention to the group considering they're nugu and nobody knows how DSP Media is actually planning to manage them. I knew Naeun of course, she's very popular and always booked and busy.

I also really loved Oh My Mistake, one of my fav gg titles of all time, so one day I was casually listening to Lalalilala and Oh My Mistake and then went down the April rabbithole and their songs are so good wtf










I also watched a recent Knowing Bros episode where 7 girl groups had sent 2 members each, and April sent Naeun/Chaekyung. They were both very cute and funny and Chaekyung might have become my bias already lol. I know the names and faces of all members and the 2 ex-members Somin and Hyunjoo but I need to get into their B-sides and other variety content.

Naeun has 2.2million IG followers whoa
Although in a rare case, her popularity has actually helped the group unlike say Chaeyeon or Sejeong who's popularity didn't carry over to their groups that well

Lalalilala album's first day sales this year were apparently 15 times their first day highest and it also charted decent. In fact I checked and April had more digital points than GFriend this year

But the girls are super cute.

Yeah I probably wouldnt have gotten into them either had I known of those changes lol. From what little I saw of Hyunjoo in Uni.T, I quite liked her so knowing she left would feel pretty terrible.
I'm already familiar with KARD and they're also under DSP so knowing Somin used to be in April doesn't bother me as much.
