I've been trading for a few months now on Trading 212 and it's been going great honestly so I wanted to make a thread and see what other people have been thinking and what they might be buying or thinking of buying. Maybe give some advice even if I'm quite new.
I'm also making a Webul account today to see if it'll work. Getting free stocks seems like a sweet deal to me :haylul:

Go ahead and talk about whatever you want within the stock market on here, I'll be sure to check it out.

Anyway, I've been doing so much research on what to invest to, what not to and just building some preferences.
The thing I always stick to is to invest only in companies I like or that have a product/plan that I agree with.
For the most part this has been renewable resources, Electric Vehicles (EV), Pinterest and rarely anything else really unless it's stock was way too good to pass on.
The biggest progenitor of my success has been Nio Inc., I've invested quite a lot into them over the past few months and I've had a collective return of around...60%
I went from 166$ to 272$ so I'd say I've been doing great with a very small amount of money. Hoping to get more money into the account soon and get some bigger profits going.

A lot of people have told me it's risky and it's not like I don't know... It's just that I guess with knowledge also comes profit and I think my knowledge can be used to put my money to work instead of it just wasting in my wallet. And my track record seems to be proving it to me so :sanapray:

I highly recommend investing. For retirement, side-money or anything in the middle.

I made an entirely new portfolio yesterday. I've only been trading 1-2 stocks at a time but I made my own portfolio or as I call it my own fund.

As I mentioned it's a Renewable and Eco-friendly portfolio.

Since I made the portfolio yesterday stuff hasn't set in yet but it will in a few hours so I'm excited to see how it goes!

Well I am not a promoter of Trading 212 but they have a really good system where if you download their app you get a "practice account" with 50,000$ to that account that you can use for investing and testing. It's free and you it's essentially fake money just so you can try it out and see what works what doesn't. Even if you lose all the money it'd be fine. So I'd tell you to start there, that's where I started.

If you're from America you should probably try WeBull cause it gives out 2 free stocks even if you don't add money to the account. And if you do add at least 100$ you get 2 more.

Anyway the best tip I can give is to invest in stuff you enjoy and companies you like. Do a bit of research, watch some youtube videos to get into the jist of it. You don't have to know everything, I literally know barely anything professionally but I understand the flow of stocks and the fact that the market basically always goes up eventually.

There are stocks and etf's.
Stocks are basically pieces of a company that you buy and when that piece becomes more valuable you get more money.
ETF's are funds that have specific stocks they buy in %, for example an etf that is for Renewable Energy has stocks from a wide variety of RE Companies like Tesla, Nio, NextEra Energy... and others. They are less volatile cause if one company loses value the others should be able to keep going up. They also give you less since if a company goes up in value it doesn't affect your money as much since it's just 1 of 50 companies.

Everything else you should find out for yourself cause I'd just overload you. Good luck!

Well, for now I've gotten a +30 € on my investment so I'd say I'm doing fine. I sold it tho so I gotta reinvest. Hopefully most of the stocks go lower in the next half-hour so I can buy em cheaper.
