Appreciation Thoughts on TXT's debut? (1 Viewer)

Personally, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Despite being from BTS's company, I didn't really have that much hype for them since none of the members caught my attention too much and I just wan't expecting much. Then when the teasers dropped I became a little more excited because I actually love it when Boy Groups do cuter-types of concepts so I waited to see what the debut would be. I think the song is actually really nice. I vibe with it. I love the bright happy feeling and its really catchy. I will say, I though the mv was somewhat underwhelming, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless and I think the visual effects were cute. Another thing; the boys looked really cohesive as a group. I thought they all really worked with each other, both visually and chemistry wise, and no member out-shined the other. Final thoughts? They're really cute, and I liked the song. I'll have to check out the b-sides as well. I'm not sure if I'll stan them yet, but I'll be looking forward to their future releases, and I'll definitely be listening to this song a lot.

Overhyped and underwhelming

Groups tend to grow over time. There were debuts in the past that were not overwhelming at all, yet the groups went popular later on. The same will likely happen to TXT.

I think people just expect too much. We all are too old and not the target audience anyway. It was clear from the beginning that this group is not going full BTS style - and that's good.

Song is decent ,some bad vocal's in places the dance looks pretty cool but i find the rest of their songs boring as hell.

It was cute, the song was average to me. In general I don't like cute/innocent groups.

The only innocent girl group I like is Griend and I stan them (I'm a causal listener of SNSD but do they fall under "cute/innocent" wholly...?)

The only aegyo boy group I cared for was Seventeen and that remains.

I wish TXT well. BTS as their brother group will make them popular regardless.

I really liked Crown and I'm glad they have a bright concept. I'm not a fan of the rest of the album tho. I'll wait for another cb before indefinitely stanning

I think BH wanted to create a group that stood apart from BTS in terms of concept and sound, and I think they've achieved that. Song's catchy, but overall it's just not my style.

I liked Crown- not in my fav tracks or anything but issa good, inoffensive, pleasant sounding song. Wouldn't skip if it came up on Shuffle Play but wouldn't seek it out either.

Nap of a Star was pretty good, but could've been REALLY great with some amazing vocals that could carry the emotion across.

I think it's not for me. It's just an ok song in my opinion. Maybe I had high hopes for them because of all the hype surrounding them, and they just did not fullfil it.
Now, I actually liked the MV (and I'm not a "mv-lover", as I hardly watch them that much). The game-color they used was really cool (that yellow-black changing part got me).

for title song, i like it in most part, cute, the chorus is good but easily forgettable
for the rest album, not so engaging, but still good

for visual, still meet knetz standard, but they should make them different.. maybe on haircut. i know the concept is cute/innocent.. but still this is debut title MV, they need to engage fans more.

Song is okay, not that super catchy but I see it morw like a safezone kinda song where no one can say it a bad song just imo the hype was too big but with this song its a good start musically for em

Same, I liked it more than I expected. It's kind of like the follow up to ONF's Complete which was one of my favorite BG songs last year.
