I hate phone calls (2 Viewers)

I understand that, phone calls make me really anxious and they’re always out of no where so I never have time to mentally prepare myself for it.

hm !! it just feels more personal ig? its always nice to hear your friends' voice and laughs
as for work related stuff idk i just find it hard to explain things over email so i like getting straight to the point and discuss things in detail. plus it always helps when you can hear their genuine reactions, especially in job interviews and such !

Ah see I hate phone calls because I have a lot of trouble being able to get to the point in speech and I prefer doing things like email where I can obsess over what i've written to make sure it's getting across what I want to get across!

and with friends or family i just don't like to talk on the phone

I remember when the doc called me once to tell me about some test results (I get my mum to call them for me so I never call them lol) and my dad called me cuz he picked it up and gave the phone to me and they were like 'Hello is this Lily ___?' and I was just like 'uuuuuuuuuuuh' and my dad was just like 'for god's sake' and did the call for me I just had to confirm that I was okay with him speaking for me lol

THE HOUSE PHONE JUST RUNG SO I STARTED PLAYING MUSIC SO I COULD PRETEND NOT TO HEAR IT IF I GET INTERROGATED ABOUT WHY I DIDN'T PICK IT UP WHEN MY DAD WAS IN THE SHOWER
