Akudama Drive is so amazing! Stop sleeping on it! (1 Viewer)

Didn't even know of it's existence until like yesterday or so. I was watching Jujutsu Kaisen (ep 17 is out btw and Maki vs Mai is ) and I read in a comment how JJK along with Akudama Drive were the best animes of the year.

Anyway I decided to check it out, it's only 12 eps long, not based on any manga, by all accounts it looks like it tells a complete story and will be fine even if there's no sequel, and the cyberpunk aesthetics and animation are so good I love it

Didn't expect this quality from Studio Pierrot lol. Anyway, why is it so slept on, pls give more attention

I literally made like 4-5 threads about Akudama Drive, it's definitely in my top 5 anime of the year

Yes I've been very pleasantly surprised so far, the visual storytelling and aesthetics are out of the world, and I also love how ambitious it is

I can't stress this enough but please watch Akudama Drive if you have the chance! - K-Pop Source — Keeping the K-Pop Forum Spirit Alive

I've made a thread about this anime a few weeks ago when there were like only 3 episodes released I think. Now that I finished newly released Episode 8 I gotta say, that it's one of the best original short Anime I've seen. Since it's most likely to only get one season (which is a shame sadly)...
