so its like thanking the doctors through god, but i feel like they should still be appreciative to the doctor in front of them, or at least how it is depicted on tv most of the times it's just thanking god but not the actual present people that did do the work if you get what i mean?

Oh yeah definitely. Even though I believe God is the one that made it happen, the doctor still did the operation and worked pretty hard to make you better. Doctors should always be thanked, even in miracle cases imo. I personally have never seen people not thank the doctors but if that happens that's really upsetting that they get discredited.

It doesn't surprise me that people believe in God. What surprises me are people who put their religion over everything and, for example, kick their children out when they do something that „insults“ their religious beliefs.

I was never religious. I'm against many things the church does and preaches.

Atheist here. It doesn't surprise me that people believe in deities, after all many of believers find comfort that way. It does surprise me that people make everything subordinate to it. I have absolutely nothing against theistic people as long as they respect the fact that I chose not to believe in higher powers.

I'm religious but I didn't say anything bc the question is being directed at atheists haha
But I don't find it that odd anymore to meet people who are atheists or agnostic because most of the community I surround myself by everyday is like that. It used to be more strange for me when I was in a religious bubble up until I entered college basically

Idk where you live but in America there are a lottttt of atheists, so seeing them irl isn't surprising for me. KS is global though, which is why I was shocked.

Yup I'm American so it is the norm to meet non religious people, but on KS and on other sites I find it common to meet non religious people more than religious people. I think most religious people tend to not talk about it most of the time.

Yeah, I think because religion usually isn't mentioned in kpop.
