I get it. SM last two girl groups had 5 members so they don't want to do that again. And 4 members seems to be the trend these days.

But they need one more visual and one more "star power" member.

At this rate I don't see them being much bigger than RV. Even with the growth of the industry to help them.

a while back, apparently her friend (in their band) posted a video with her a few months back but deleted

that was the original rumour from March last year ish: 7 member total, two subunits, 4 member subunit (kari, ning, min, hina) debut first, followed by subunit two
obviously plans changed since hina seems to have lost her debut slot to aeri, so I don’t know at this point

she did, she only started training (idk if this counts her time as apprentice or not) in 2017 so her trainee contract would've ended in 2020
probably because her voice didn't line up with what they had in mind

last I heard she was going in musical theatre, hope she succeeds there since as I said before, girl was too talented for kpop

yeah the subunit rumor that turned out to be mostly true sounded somewhat similar to that idea ngl
idk if they can hold on to their ace trainees though, a bunch of people confirmed that helen left, and she was an apprentice in debut lineup and had the vibe sm wanted too :,)))

Give them some time. It's only been 3 months. Their first comeback is being highly anticipated so if there are no plagiarism scandals, I think it'll be well received.
