I looked into it and no, they haven't. Technically since GOT7 debuted in 2014, they're possibly covered under Korean trademark law that transfers ownership of the group name, intellectual property, etc to the group after their contract expires. Though, according to a KIPRIS trademark search, GOT7's copyright belongs to JYPE until 2024, not sure if that is overridden by article 8. HOWEVER, JYP himself still profits off of GOT7 personally due to the fact that he is the listed songwriter and composer on many of GOT7's songs.

Basically, there's no clear answer here as to who owns what (they did not buy the trademarks, as far as I know, but they may be transferred), but we do know that JYP himself will continue to profit off of GOT7.

They're not going to promote because Mark doesn't even live in Korea anymore. Idk how you expect them to promote when all members aren't even in the same country and there's quarantine requirements + their obligations to their new labels.

Edited to add: 2PM debuted in 2008 and therefore weren't covered under the revised trademark rules, meaning everything 2PM related belongs to JYPE, which is why Jay Park wasn't protected.

I doubt they'll actually promote together anytime soon, so it's kind of a moot point. Either way, they'll be given all their copyrights and I doubt JYPE holds the power to blacklist them from the industry, especially considering the sheer uproar that would occur with ahgases. Jay Park was one member, GOT7 is an entire group and most members, ESPECIALLY the foreign members have a lot of power & sway. Just look at how Jackson was still doing all his Team Wang work while still under JYP, even going as far as to stop participating in Japanese promotions. In the grand scheme of things, it'd be a horrible business move for JYPE to try and pull shit.
