Most of the Kepler's are pretty interesting, only issue would be that they're ocean based so living on them would probably all be subsurface.

I feel like most extraterrestrial life doesn't even live in or near water. They could microscopic organisms living in Jupiter's extremely thick and windy atmosphere. We keep trying to find life outside of our solar system but we haven't even explored all of the planets in our own solar system in their entirety.

It makes sense, since humans need water and we try to relate everything to ourselves (since that's the most we know). I think the tricky part is defined by like...what is life? What determines if something is living? Many of the dictionary definitions of life aren't accurate since there are just so many exceptions.
