Ok superm brought 3 groups togther


and if you originally only stanned 1 of them did it make you look into the other ones?

for me it worked 100%
I now check out both exo and shinee
i think i got a bias in both
and considering buying albums

to be fair i did like both groups music before hand but never went deep into each groups

I would say I like SuperM's music a bit less in comparison to all of the 3 individual groups and I already stanned NCT and EXO while being a fan of SHINee so it's more like I'm in love with them being all combined together

worked the opposite for me, actually. made me dislike nct even more. can't say the same for exo and shinee cause i loved them before and they are legends and nct has no business having collab songs with them.

i am aware they are in the same company, I'm just saying that in personal opinion nct is nowhere near the same level of talent as exo and shinee as a whole. yes, there are individuals who are absolutely stellar, but as a group I'm really not impressed (aside 127 limitless era).

yes there vocal focus groups but even nct has amazing vocalist

only cause you dont like there style dont mean they lack talent

I never said they lack talent. I just said that exo and shinee outshine them by a mile. rap is not the only talent, by the way. and if you think nct has amazing vocalists, then perhaps you should broaden horizons on who amazing vocalists in kpop are. absolutely no hate meant with this comment, just constructive criticism. nct was made to appeal to a global audience, with a concept that caters mostly to teenage girls. exo, until recently was just that whereas shinee is "mature" since 2015. yes, it might be that the other 2 have more experience, but you don't "collide" your new and old groups like that. let them have a station collab or a one time thing, don't try to force all the talent by blatantly favoritising members of your youngest squad. I've stated my opinion on nct bajillion times here and it always ends in a discord so i will stop here

Im a multi stan
and yes there not the best
most kpop groups are not amazing singers cause how they are produced
but there is members like Xiaojun in nct
nct is extremly heavy on rappers and dancers and i know sm needs add more vocalist ive said this for ages
the last 2 members they added were both rappers and if sm dont add vocalist soon nct will have issues...
9 actual vocalist vs 12 rappers/dancers

but i far from agree they outshine
sorry but i think all groups have had hit and miss songs
and only cause a group is older doesnt mean they outshine them
yes they have refined there sounds and more stable cause they been around longer but that as far as it goes

I had stanned Exo when SuperM first debuted and had already checked out NCT, one day I’ll look into Shinee, I can’t really say SuperM made me more interested in those two groups though.
