I definitely had a crushes on people when I was younger, but I was pretty quiet and awkward so I didn't talk to them much and didn't say much about it. Because of that, none of my crushes worked out, but I gotta say, I don't regret that. They grew up to be not so great.

I've had some really insignificant crushes that I got over real quick and I also had this one huge crush at one point and that really didn't work out

I think as a rule of thumb for EVERYONE if you end up confessing to someone and they reject you don't even try to stay friends until you're 100% over it cuz otherwise the feelings won't go away and just get stronger even though you know you don't have a chance and then really bad things happen to your friendship

totally not talking from experience or anything..........

yeah for sure, I can imagine it would be hard to stay just friends with someone after a rejection

especially since real feelings for someone are hard to control. I've only had crushes on two people in my life and it took me years to get over both lmao

I mean... kiddie crushes. I wasn't allowed to date as a minor, and I was focused on my work for the most part.

Oh right... I had a real one two years ago as well. But I don't leap into a relationship until I'm good and ready. During the vetting stage he showed his true intentions, and I doubt he realized that. Anyway, I dropped him quickly.

I'm glad I never dated anyone I liked.

That's super smart. I think most people are blinded by their feelings most of the time and don't take their time to really get to know their crushes.

I've had many, only one ended in a relationship that I am still in to this day
But a couple ended quite badly, some meh, some I am still friends with to this day

I get crushes on literally everyone I meet

But a genuine crush not really? I mean my childhood crush that I had for like 3/4 years was my best friend at the time but he moved away when I was 10 I believe? In middle school I had a crush on a guy that was the same age as me but 2 grades older since he skipped 2 grades so it's not like I ever interacted with him. I don't plan on dating until I get to college though since i want to focus on my education for now.
