im pretty sure you misunderstood what i said. what i said was that different artists see their visuals at a different level of importance. So saying that they're aware of the importance of visuals doesn't make sense, because the importance of visuals varies by person.

I think what you're trying to say is maybe that you prefer artists with similar values to yours?

oh it definitely matters in kpop. attractiveness is important in business period, so i see what you mean there. in terms of marketing especially. Even in like advertisements and designs and stuff the main point is to gain attention by being attractive. i myself am actually partly a visual bias person (obv i dont stan solely for visual purposes but my biases are usually the people i find the most attractive subconsciously) and i think most kpop stans would be lying if they said that their idols looks didnt play a big role. i was talking more so in general in individual lives.

um...as for jaehyun...im not even going to entertain that question because i just imagined jaehyun with soo mans body and im now crying

i don't know but if any of my biases had anything done then good for them. even i would do it if i could afford it and wasn't terribly scared of surgeries. i just hope that if they did it then it was their choice and they weren't forced by anyone.
