Following former April member Hyunjoo's allegations against the members bullying her and driving her to attempt suicide, backlash against April and esp Naeun has been immense. Many CFs and shows have already dropped her which is a big hit since Naeun was booked and busy, almost single handedly keeping April relevant.

Now, her upcoming drama "Taxi Driver" has dropped her, which regardless of how the whole situation turns out, isn't surprising.

Studio S, the production company of Taxi Driver, made its official position regarding Naeun amid the continued April’s bullying scandal.

In the official press release, they wrote, “The production staff of Taxi Driver discussed with the agency, and they came to a decision to replace Naeun, who has been filming as one of the major characters. We ask for your understanding as the announcement of our official position has been delayed due to a sufficient survey of the public opinion and choosing a new actress for the role.”

They continue, “Taxi Driver has already finished filming 60% of the story. But the new actress has replaced the role (that Naeun played) and all the scenes will be re-filmed. Studio S and the production crew will do our best to show you a good drama.”

60% filming done already so they'll essentially have to reshoot everything with the new actress, that's gonna cost some money. Gives an idea of how big the scandal is.

I liked them since Oh My Mistake and then they didnt have a cb for like 2 years or sth
It's sad to suddenly see a group like almost disappearing with just a finger snap of an ignition, the K-Pop Industry is toxic already I don't know why trainees/idols make it harder on themselves as well

Oh My Mistake got them Billboard attention, and Lalalilala was actually their most successful cb, both physically and esp digitally. Many people said they were just poised to breakout at last, like Oh My Girl.
That's not gonna happen anymore
