I see a lot of people confuse the two, POC means people of color ( black, asian, latino, indigenious etc.) whilst Black people is used to refer to African Americans. Black people are POC but POC aren't Black people.

slight correction: Hispanic refers to stuff related to Spain, so Latino may be a better word for it. I’m guilty of using both interchangeably but yeah
I would add indigenous in too, because bipoc is a big concept now I guess. I 100% see the need behind the term, but I do find the usage of it to be polarizing at times

Yeah, I never understood why people thought it was offensive to say "black." That's the least harmful way to describe the race.
