I can't, I kept falling on my butt when my class went to the ice ski rank.
I'm the complete opposite of what you see on screen. If you were in performance, what song would you perform with? ​

I can! I'm not good enough, i started very late but i find it super fun and relaxing! I wish i could be professional but i suffer. If i did a performance i'd skate to Schumann's Faschingschwank asu Wien (Op. 26). its one of my favourite pieces hahaha

I can't figure skate, but i can't ice skate I mean that i can't do jump, spins (well kinda can basic spin but it's nothing like figure skating) etc. but I can move, stop, go backwards, the basic stuff. I actually like ice skating a lot, putting up good music to earbuds and just going around the rink is relaxing.

If i could figure skate... well I guess Muse's Feeling good would be good. Yes i have thought about it before cause i used to be rly into watching figure skating.

Are you ever planning to learn figure skating, everything takes time to fulfill. I can't even skate without falling multiple times. Gosh it's an extreme sport because you can accidentally cut yourself with the blade. Any idea of what you'll wear for your performance, the song is rock n roll? Hipster

I could when I was young :). We had ice skating classes at kindergarten and I was actually good! I did go ice skating only once or twice after that :/

Yep, I did a lot of roller blading as a kid so knew how to get the balance right before going on ice. Before covid hit there was going to be an ice rink opening near my house, but it's opening when restrictions are eased next month. I can't do any jumps or anything though.

Not really cause I like to skate for leisure It would take lot of effort to learn figure skating and I think learning on your own would be difficult if not dangerous (with the jumps and all). And usually the skating rinks I use aren't in best condition they aren't maintained that well so you have to sometimes to be careful even with normal skating ^^;

I think they use a machine that helps maintain the flat surface so you could skate with pleasure, it should be considered an extreme sport because you can get ahead cushion from a drastic fall. I'm scared to skate

Yea they do in indoor skate rinks and fake ice one's, but the one's I use are mostly small sports fields that are iced for winter with natural methods They are maintained usually pretty well, but the ice still has rough spots and ruffles. I like the use these more cause there is less people and it's closer to my home (2 mins walk actually).

I've never been to an outdoor ice rink but indoor ones, what's the difference? More fresh air breezing through when we skate? Do you buy tickets to skate, forgot how it works again?

No tickets u just go and skate when u please during winter. Im not sure if these are common in other countries. But cities maintain ice rinks, they ice sport fields and parts of school yards. They dont usually have fenced just the ice and thats it. If ur lucky there is no other skaters and u get whole rink for urself
