That's still something, I do nothing like it's surprising I didn't get a memory loss.

Yeah, not anything fancy just basic skating and not falling over, it helps that I know how to Rollerblade, so the first time I tried ice skating, I got the hang of it in a couple of minutes, somewhat the same manuaver pattern.
I havent ice skated since my early 20's though, so it's been a while.

I went from not being able to let go of the side, to being able to go reasonably fast around the rink and even do the lil run up and jump onto the rink and then I regressed all the way back down to not being able to let go of the sides again except now it's even worse than when I was a kid cuz i'm less brave to even try it and i'm also now traumatized from all the memories I have of falling over especially this one time when I fell on my elbow and sprained my arm so bad I could barely move it for a week. The time when I suddenly got really good at it was when I was still really young like no older than 10 but probably a bit younger than that I was with my oldest brothers who were already near/in their 30s and well over 6ft tall so it really wasn't hard for them to steady tiny ole me and helped me get my confidence and balance up until I could do it on my own. Fast foward a few years and I haven't skated since the time before and i'm on a school trip and that's when I hurt my arm. Fast forward another few years which was the last time I went and my friends literally had to rent one of those sled things they usually have for children (they were penguins tho uwu) and even then I was barely hanging on for dear life. In current times unfortunately our only rink on the entire island has been permanently closed for a few years.

There's no winter season in my country. I cant/dont ice-skate. I can roller skate tho. Not roller blade.

There r indoor ice skating rinks but they're a bit costly n hard to get to unless u live near one.

Lastly, falling flat on my ass when learning to roller skate, i dont want to rpt falling on my ass on ice, so....not going ice skating ever.
