I joined a scholarship organization type thing but I am not active in it. And there are Korean clubs at my uni but I am too shy to join them

a Korean club sounds really interesting!

this is something I have always admired about American culture, the school culture, the club thing. here, we don´t have a lot of after-school programmer (unless, we are talking primary school, 7-8 year-olds) and people are really not into clubs. Scouts? We do have them, but it´s kind of "nerdy" and "odd" to be a scout.

i have never been in a club and I am probably not the best person for it, yet I´d love to have a book club among friends.
talk about books, drink tea, eat cookies ..... just nice.

I mean I was in a Japanese club in high school. But I think that was it-I would maybe say animal shelters maybe??

it is the national junior honor society and we just earn college credit and do service for the community. In one school year we need to have 10 service hours to stay in and I help out special ed kids and teach them how to read and stuff for service hours :)

I typically only join one or two clubs at a time. I'm not a huge fan of dedicating time to a collective thing like that? idk a lot of the times it just seems like too much effort for me

I was in the writing club in High School. It was really small though, our 10 - 11 grade English teacher did it with his own money since our school didn’t want to fund it. It was fun though.

Not that often, cause i want to be active when I do. I have been in one RPG/boardgame club (haven't played with them ages though cause of covid) and on uh googling housing cooperative? or sth like that we do parties and buy stuff for the apartment house complex that other residents can attend and use.
