Soojin is on hiatus. Cube already stated she was going to be taking a break, thus any new releases from IDLE would be as a 5.

I don't think this would be much on its own but Cube nor Soojin responded to Seo Shin Aes post so now having Soojin removed from something that she already participated in looks like they've given up on her and just want to try and protect (G)I-dles reputation rather than Soojins.

Everything regarding this was already recorded with her in though so Cube could've just released it and recorded a 5 member version for promotions if needed however this seems more so that they're cutting her out.

i'd understand it knowing that she's on hiatus if it wasn't for the fact that the song has to be re-recorded. for example, hyeran from brave girls was on hiatus during rollin' era yet still was included on the bsides from the album and they didn't cut out her parts even if she wasn't promoting. the fact that they're going to re-record the whole song and even go as far as editing the music video and photoshoot (which i think is a bit too much tbh) makes it even worse.

Due to the issue not being resolved and cube just deciding to put Soojin on hiatus, I'm not surprised. I don't think that anyone should be shocked, I mean we all had to have seen this coming at some point. Instead of just kicking her out which they clearly refuse to do, Cube is going to keep her in the dungeon until they feel she can officially return. Let's face it, who knows how long it may be before she comes back for real.

I’m not shocked. Gidle’s brand reputation as a group and individuals have plummeted ever since the scandal happened. Cube is moving to protect Idle as a group and brand before Soojin. I still don’t like what this situation has become.....
