Nothing but the truth. Another hard fact is that despite BP's success they haven't raised YG's investments to compete with JYP and SM, scandal or no scandal. They may be more popular but with TWICE being the number one girl group in the two top Asian music industries investors are clearly favoring JYP.

WINKON could have been on the level of BTS and EXO, and filled BB's places for male soloist but YGE mismanaged them so much and delayed hitting important miles stones for quick cash, its to late for them to be top tier. Also despite IKON's touring power in Japan investors are favoring JYP and SM.

2NE1 was a real gem lost. YG lied about the need for disbandment, seeing as Bom quickly formed and established a agency for herself and is clearly moving forward. 2NE1 could had been technical still together (minus Minzy), while YG pushed CL and Dara as solo acts and slowly reintroduced Bom like D-nation. Wth Kpop being global even if Korea rejects her there is still one of the largest international fanbases. If he at least had those three they could have put together a EP and had a world tour this year to capitalize on it being their 10 year anniversary. As well as one or even two Bom comebacks and features early this year.

All the other companies have been able to pass the torch to the younger gen but YG. They knew BB was about to serve on the military and yet did nothing to prepare themselves for the drought. It does. I really feel bad for WINKON and One. They really never had their moment at all. At least the women had their times, especially 2NE1 but the men really did not get a chance and are looked down on as "flops".

Not only lazy but a cheap ass too. If there's something I respect from JYP is the amount of effort and care they've put on their groups. As a GG stan, I can say Twice's place was earned working their asses off, esp. in Japan. Their strategy has been brilliant and that's why their results are so good.

Yeah despite some people trying to look down on SVT, they are in the top 5 BG of their gen. I'm sure it goes BTS, EXO, SVT, Got7 and Monsta X. I don't count Wanna One, their only a temporary group.

I would at least wish to see effort. Hell, you are not making comeback? make them release mix tapes, far easier to make, make varieties hell give one of the members camera force them to do vlog, anything is better than this 0 effort. Kpop is not just about spending time on MV and costumes, its about members and idols putting effort, show that effort, hell poke peoples eyes with it. Dont show people you are rich and doesnt need them, its not about being idol, its about being spoiled. Idols need to be approachable, humble, creative if needed, but with YG, even if their idols have all 3, YG refuses to show this. Hell, their groups have such sweet and nice people, but YG choose to underline outfits they wear not their personality and creations.

Major problem with this was set time.

Ikon started to shine, and YG cut them back and send them away, assuming rookies would somehow manage to hold fandom with 2 songs.

The time Ikon was away, constantly doing concerts, Seventeen released 2 full over 4 mini albums, and these groups debuted at same year close to each other
