Yep that's what I was thinking too, looks like they could've cut them down to 4 or 5 members...

Like not everybody who isn't the greatest singer or dancer is a filler member ofc... They could be amazing at variety or just be really charming overall etc
but having THREE members whose "purpose" in the group is unclear at first glance... seems dangerous to me honestly

I'm worried for those members

It seems weird that Cube would announce the positions like this when they're so unevenly distributed...

The just "rapper" has me worried, I hate unnecessary rap parts in songs, hopefully they won't have to suffer too much from it

To be fair, Cube seems to have a a good eye for rappers, so I wouldn't worry about it. However, a group with 2 main vocalists implies that the group will focus on singing, which is interesting considering that none of their other GGs were vocal oriented.

(G)I-DLE has two main vocals... Miyeon and Minnie.

Those are their official positions?? No shade intended but G-Idle is not a vocal group...

Yep, Minnie is supposed to be "attractive vocal" and Miyeon is the "power vocal"
