1. What does it mean to "stan" a group, for you?
For me it means you like their music and also their members

2. Do you find following more than 2 groups difficult?
No but I think I just stan a combination of groups where the activity isn't overwhelming like BTS alone would be a mission for someone so add another active group on top of that and I could see how that gets too much. Most of the groups I stan though aren't overwhelming with activity even to the point of some days just nothing really happens with them so it's not this gif.

Omg this so relatable. The same thing happened with me and TWICE. The gap got so huge between the amount of time I dedicated to GFriend and the amount of time I dedicated to TWICE. Actually, it came to the point where I barely checked what was going on with TWICE. GFriend are really active and following them whilst working and studying is hard enough. I legit felt bad calling myself a ONCE so I'm just gonna resign myself from that title and just check the girls out when I can. They'll always be my number 2 in the 3rd gen but yeah I don't think I can call myself a stan.

Well it happens! Your love for TWICE isn't any less but it's just that actual stanning a group takes up so much of your time and it usually has to be the group you are most interested in.
I know I have been guilty of this before but when people say 'Stan so and so', it is actually really difficult for someone to stan a group if they are not already in your heart and don't stan many groups.
I have really got into (G)I-dle lately and in fact, I have listened to their music repeatedly and I am loving it, but I don't know if I could ever stan anymore groups because like I said, Dreamcatcher take up so much of my time and honestly, if I had careful consideration of what 'stanning a group' is before I knew about Dreamcatcher, then maybe I wouldn't have even stanned Dreamcatcher given the circumstances and just become a big fan of them barring the stanning.

It can be exhausting if you need to vote on a award show I try to be reasonable but end up voting for my ulti aka EXO mostly.

Sometimes I listen to song and etc. and be reasonable. Then vote for someone who really deserves it IMO. Ik everyone deserves it but if I like someone else's song better I'll vote for it.

It's actually fun to be multifandom bc you get content everyday, I follow even groups on some media that I don't really stan f.ex. Ateez, SF9 etc. It's fun to see what others comment and etc. tbh. I also get blessed everyday so yeah.

tbh I sometimes feel bad because I a lot of the time prioritize one group over the other. for me I pay the most attention to blackpink, I try to keep up with the other groups that I stan but it can get hard sometimes because theyre usually really active.

I find it really hard specially when more than one of your favorite groups have a comeback, I remember one year SHINEE, MX and BTS all had close comebacks and I spent 500.00 worth of albums. It was exhilarating. :P

From what i experienced in stanning GFriend, It means you are obsessed with a group from a lot of their aspects, always up to date with all their activities without being forced to do it and won't became a burden to you. You have to prioritize your support for the group than other groups. You must not dislike any members from that group.
I can't say I stan a group if i don't do most of that. For me, liking a group is different from stanning them.

I never stanned more than 1 but i believe it is. Even when i decided to stan Minseo, a soloist, i found my obsession to her wasn't as big as i do to GFriend so i started asking myself do i really stan her or not, just like what you're feeling right now
But my mindset became different for solo stan. Since a member doesn't have much solo activities compared to his/her group, you don't have to follow him/her as much as you do to a group. I just need to type their names in search bar routinely.
Soloists i stan (IU,Minseo) don't have much activities as well and have their own personal account to follow, so it's kinda easier.

In a little more lax when it comes to what I count as stanning, if I like the majority of the music, like the members and know the basic facts about them (names/ positions/ect not being able to tell them apart) and I watch and enjoy some of their variety I consider myself to stan. It means I stan a lot of groups, but because I don't care about every single interview, variety show, ect it doesn't take up as much time.
