Jiho Oh My Girl will not participate in promotions for 1 week starting 2021.05.13 due to injury, not sure if it's ankle or back according to the translation. She sustained injury reportedly at rehearsal for M Countdown today n got taken to hospital for treatment.

F*ck*ng Sh*t, Sarangheyo Jiho. 2 MIAs in 1 week. This better not be a trend, even the past year going bk to early 2020, there were some including Jiho, Binnie n YooA either missing or not at full fitness, not participating completely or on the sidelines-singing but not dancing.

Pls Take care of yourselves, girls. My heart cant take it if you're not well from over-exertion/avoidable injuries.

At least from the previews(ofc its from b4 the injury happened/announced) it seems Mimi is well now n feeling better, so its put her bk in n take 1 out for 6 total-it seems like: i joke becos otherwise i'd cry from sadness at how long since last comeback n how its going rn.

How do you get Jiho and Binnie mixed up in that smh They're not down to 5 on one hand but on the other it's been 3 days since they're comeback and they've had Mimi miss the showcase and now Jiho is gonna be out for a week like

I dint write the tweet confusing Jiho n Binnie, i just posted it cos my twt tl was where i first read abt Jiho being injured n missing promotions. The last 2 tweets were just to show Mimi is bk n well.(iv since found the youtube videos of Oh my Girl M Countdown stage performances, n in process of posting in Oh My Girl Artis thread. They performed Dun Dun Dance n Dear You with all 7 members, so i technically posted everything tat was true(the Dear You was a sitting performance, no idea if Jiho injury contributed to tat or it was originally planned tat way-i hv forgotten/wasnt paying attention to the showcase performance since when i watched it wasnt subbed at tat time.)

Im watching itzy in the morning stage rn, n ill rewatch the showcase of Dear You by Ohmygirl after tat to refresh my memory of whether there's choreo or not for Dear You n if they changed it for today after Jiho got injured/if they maybe planned for them all to sit all this while.

S'all good now iv seen all 7 perform on M!Countdown at least this 1 time Dun Dun Dance n Dear You. Maybe it'll also chart for 1 whole year, n there'll be many more performances to come from all 7.

Edit: PS also Binnie's arm was injured/awkward during performance last time where she struggled/barely moved it, so another member who got injured/dint participate fully in the past year.

Well the Dear You showcase stage does have them sitting so it might just be a stylistic choice to go with the song and Jiho was dancing in the Dun Dun Dance stage so I'd have to guess they had the stages prerecorded as sometimes things do just happen.

It's also possible though that the stages were live and she twisted her ankle on the stairs coming back from the stage as it doesn't give a time frame in the tweets of when the injury happened

It was reported during rehearsals for M!Countdown today, so presumably after they performed Dun Dun Dance(also could be the rehearsal stages were broadcast as when Wendy got injured, RV Psycho was broadcast but i cant rmbr tat far back Oh it was pre-2020 so it was definitely rehearsal tat was broadcast since virtual stage performances werent a thing yet in end-2019( tat was such a long time ago now, seems like a decade ago but it was 16 mths ago.)

Edit: PS i missed/overlooked your sentence about the stairs, reading too quickly without absorbing/processing everything b4 replying. I would hope they examined n ascertained her injury n immediately decided to transport her to hospital if her injury is serious enuf to not participate in promotions for a week. The rehearsal part was mentioned in the comments of the tweets since the original korean statements dint mention it so neither did the translations.
